Bronson and Migliaccio
Bronson and MigliaccioBronson and Migliaccio opened the doors of their New York offices in 1991. They started out as a normal corporate law office. In 1998 they decided to specialize solely in debt collection and asset recovery cases. Since 1998, they have opened five more offices. These offices have varied ratings from the Better Business Bureau.

Bronson and Migliaccio in Purchase, New York has no information regarding it’s practices in the Better Business Bureau. The Williamsville, New York branch has a Better Business Bureau rating of D+. This is determined by the number of complaints lodged against the office in the last 36 months. In the last 12 months, 13 complaints of extreme debt collection practices have been lodged. In the last 36 months, a total of 45 complaints have been filed for the same reasons. The company claims that they have an excellent rating with the Better Business Bureau in Buffalo, New York. No records from the BBB could be found to back that claim.

The New Jersey office rates a C. The amount of complaints for the past 36 months is only 5, only 1 of which was taken care of this year. The rating comes from the lack of knowledge that the BBB has on this particular office and the amount of time it took the office to resolve the complaints that were lodged against it.

The Maryland office rates the best at an A-. This is due to the amount of time the office has been open, it opened it’s doors in 2005, coupled with the low complaint rate. There were only 2 complaints lodged in the past 36 months. Both of these complaints were resolved in a timely manner.

The Ohio office rates a B-. There were no complaints lodged in the last 36 months. The business has only been open since 2007, so the BBB does not have sufficient information to make a complete report and raise or lower this score.

The Illinois office also rates a B-. This business suffers from the lack of information available to the Better Business Bureau due to the amount of time the office has been open, less than 2 years. There was one complaint lodged within the last 36 months and although it was unresolved the BBB determined that the company did everything possible to correct the problem. The client simply refused to accept the offer presented to them.

When it comes to quality, Bronson and Migliaccio are all over the map. The overall consensus of the BBB seems to point to middle of the range business practices regarding this business.
