Beginning the Process On their contact page on the website, they only provide a toll-free number and an email address. There is no form to fill out on the website itself which is a departure from other company’s websites. Also, you have to click on their “Contact Us” link in order to get to this information. It is not placed on the home page. Types of Debt Serviced Unsecured only. Worth Noting Help One Credit is emphatic in their insistence that all credit cards placed into the program be closed. Also they strongly suggest that other cards that are not placed into the program are reserved only for emergency use. And if that is not enough, they also will not allow you to apply for other credit because of the effect that it will have in negotiating with your creditors. Program Caution and Your Responsibilities You must be wary of the costs and fees of this or any other debt settlement program. Also, you are required to adhere to truthful submission of information as well as a commitment to making your monthly payments as agreed. Will Debt Collectors Still Call? Yes, but they state that they are successful in stopping most if not all of the calls. Other Information Help One Credit appears to have a good program although the website does not appear to offer as much information as do other sites. This might be in the way it is laid out with links inside of each page that you have to pay attention to in order to make sure that you see all of the information offered.
